I agree with meleagar that not all men have free will Thats very easily proven actually. People sell their souls for money, fame, or whatever else, after that they dont have any free will at all. Most people in this world have free will.... part time Whenever there is no need for those who govern th...

(quote not shown) This quote seems to sum up the main point of your post. Do you think it impossible to have law without theology (like good without evil)? Or do you just think that the two are always inextricably intertwined, in practice (like peas 'n' carrots)? So far there has never been "la...

(quote not shown) Ok let me focus on this. It should be clear enough that for me, a Christian, the 10 Commandments of my God have been incorporated into the human law that applies to me, as a matter a fact they are the cornerstone of the law. (Thou shall not kill, steel, etc, etc.) Now if i look at ...

Why do we live ?? This question is not answerable. The right question should be "why do i live?" There is not any particular need to share a cause of "living" is there? So if there is no common cause then the question in plural is pointless. We dont share fate so we cant pinpoint...

(quote not shown) Well, honesty is applied on money transactions right? (among other things) It's keeping your word once you give it. This sometimes requires sacrifices, selflesness, and other qualities also. It is difficult to do. An honest person does not lie but he/she has also more superior valu...

I am really glad somebody understands what I am talking about in this subject of evil.
You know, I must have read more than 300 different bios of Christian saints. And the phenomena described there are beyond the knowledge of most people.
Which is very unfortunate

(quote not shown) I agree with you in a way. Not in the essential sense of your conclusion but because of the implications that are caused by it. I don't think that we may conclude with certainty that a person who does not believe in the after life is neccesarily evil. However this belief would poss...

(quote not shown) It's not an angry tone, just a hypothetical situation. After all you are trying to dismiss the concept of evil all togeter as if it doesn't exist. Thats too naive in my opinion. Let me ask you another way, hypothetically again: You shoot me in the head, beacause i wronged you terri...

(quote not shown) Well, in filosophy a priori knowledge is true to everybody. For example certain theorems may start with an axiom, which does not need to be proven beacause it is a kind of universal truth, and it is accepted as such. In the personal level however, as much as the self is concerned, ...
