They can become reality due to the vicarious nature of the modern man. Technology and leisure time make it easy for people to disconnect for long periods of time from any responsible activity. When a substantial amount of that time was spent watching reality T.V. the reality t.v. tends to engulf the viewers attention into it's version of what is real, what is important ?


Also they are reality because everything in reality is part of reality and we are in reality.
