I would ask you why not live life?

I can understand if you have terminal and painful cancer or something similar that you would have a compelling argument to check out. But for the rest of us pizza tastes good, sex feels good, kids bring us joy... mostly, and politics are fun to argue.

I do actually understand your question fundamentally and we all seek the answer. But both Buddha and I would recommend you don't forget to enjoy what is in front of you while you look for the deepest darkest mysteries. Because ironically you will find when it is over that it all comes back to the experience you had while you were here.
