Here is an interesting experiment on cats where the 'anger' module is identified, stimulated and the result is switching anger & rage on and off.
Humans also has the same independent module for anger [albeit more complex than cats]. When the Connectome Project has made significant advances, scientists will be able to map a fuller map and a chart related to anger. Therefrom specific areas of the related circuits can be targeted for improvement to regulate the anger emotion.
