:)

Given the playing field I really think it is basic biology, the women is looking out for her best interest and that of any child which is produced by the union. We can make it look romantic as long as both parties more than meet the basic expectations of the other. Of course there are more things involved in the choice a female makes, the choice of course is the female function. This choice can still be a really bad one, not really perceiving fully what she is getting for her bang--sorry couldn't resist that--lol!

I think even if it is highly materialistic in nature that which gets them together, that does not mean that through the duration of the relationship something more cannot develop. After infatuation has long fell away a true love might slowly replace it. Yes most of the reasons for her choice are materialistic, and unlike a lot of animals, in her society, she has the power of selection, and that empowers her in the ways of the body politic. Of course there is then the attraction of the male to the female which seems almost utterly superficial and/or physical, granted not without some acceptions.

It is quite true, if you cannot make her laugh, your never going to get laid.

Ah, guys. Women are not as difficult as they seem.

Many of them are materialistic, even if they have money themselves, but that's if they are interested in long term relationships.

Some of them may be into power, but let's face it, truly powerful men are very rare. And if a female happens to come across one, they are usually not available, or have too many interested women, which means too much competition. Anyway, these men are spoiled rotten.

The women I know are not so much into looks as they are into tidiness and hygiene. Although, a good looking man couldn't hurt. ;)

I hate to say it, but I will. I think men are slicker than women. They usually have more malice and trick women into believing all kinds of crazy stories. The women that don't fall for that stuff are not so much into the dating game. You may not see them at pubs, bars, clubs. They live healthier lifestyles. You might find them at the gym, parks, libraries, etc...

I think talent is a definite turn on for everyone. Polish any talents you have, and acquire any skills you would like to have.

Humor is good, but there should be no laughing into the female vagina. Let her do the giggling instead... ;)

I don't think that there is a specific secret to picking up women, but I believe there is a formula that will improve a man's chances with a wider range of women:

Physical attraction is very important, so taking care of how one looks is important. Good hygiene is vital, wearing nice clothes, using nice perfume, fairly regular grooming and going to the gym will definately make one look attractive, so women will be interested in the way that you look.

Looks are the first step, interaction and personality comes next. Being confident and polite is important, because they are looking for a man to take care of them. I think that being shy is cool, but one should say that they are shy, rather than actually just being shy and scared. The best advice I could ever give anyone in terms of interaction is to just be yourself. If she doesn't like you when you're being your natural self, then she's not for you.

Listen to what she is saying, be polite, make a few jokes and maintain eye contact. Avoid staring at her body and breasts if they are at all visible. She knows that you're attracted to her and ultimately what you want (because you are a man), best not to make it obvious that you're very interested in her body - there is a person there too, which is also enjoyable.

Ultimately, I think that the answer is to be masculine, but sensitive. That approach has worked for me over the years anyway. However, like DarwinX said, if one is any of rich, good-looking, talented and powerful, they will certainly come to you, then the power is in your hands. Use it wisely...
Theists believe, agnostics ponder and atheists analyse. A little bit of each should get us the right answer.

[quote="DarwinX"]Women only want 4 things

1. Money 2. Good looks 3. Power 4. Talent

The above list is relative to each female.

My personal list: 1) honest 2) good hygiene 3) manners 4) kind 5) has a direction in life 6 )is wise with what money he has 7) Personable ) respectful 9) faithful in word and deed 10) can give and take humor, etc.. These things show a man has confidence.

Weird, when I type the #8 it keeps putting the face with the dark glasses there - anyone know why?

I believe I possess 8-9 out of 10 of these qualities. If you are free later I would love to discuss some of your favorite Philosophers. :P ;)

Well to be honest with you Misty, being 21 I feel my life has direction, but I don't feel I have ever truly been "tested" by life (though my personal matters are no picnic I assure you.) I have also made many mistakes and harbor regrets, but I truly feel Philosophy and my current circumstances have and continue to make me a better person. You seem like a very put together woman which I respect, but I am always good for some nice, flirtatious banter if anything else. :P Being I love Philosophy I can also discuss some high brow stuff too. ;)
