Was I supposed to automatically know you were asking me? Why do people on here often not use the quote option?Greta wrote:So what is your answer?

I seems pretty obvious to me that if a post is not explicitly addressed to another poster then it is addressed to the poster of the previous post. If you hadn't quoted "So what is your answer?" it would still have been obvious who you were replying to. So I presume you're just stalling.

Sorry when I say 'the book' I mean 'the art of always being right'. Good book by the way.

Except that an incompetent audience has not necessarily been taken away.Eduk wrote:You have to love Razblo. It reminds me of Andy Kaufman (slightly) in that he would play a practical joke on the audience and never explain it meaning he (and a small group) were pretty much the only people who got the joke. Razblo is similar in that he is debating in the style of Arthur Schopenhauer, but Schopenhauer didn't mean for a rational agent to actually employ the techniques. Also the book assumes an audience, and assumes an incompetent audience, if you take those away it is like adding a laugh track to jokes you are making to yourself at home.

Ok, so the picture of me reminds you of Gail? I get this often in the street also.Steve3007 wrote:Gail:

Yes, I'm stalling. But not for the reason you may think. I'm stalling to encourage a better protocol because people here get sloppy with regard to identifying their target, and sometimes this does cause unnecessary confusion.
I think Greta hates putting my title in there as if it is somehow poison to her. It's some emotional out of hand thing, I think.

I listed your various separate objections to climate change many posts ago. I and Londoner (at least) have also tried to engage you on some of the issues, which you've ignored.Yes, I'm stalling. I may be speaking out of turn, but I think you're over-analyzing bit there.
