A comment on neural science: light goes in your eyes. images attached to the word sword. certain patterns are impressed on certain neurons. sometime later neurons flicker and this same area comes to life again, perhaps in a dream, or while writing a short story. Did anyone or anything have a first person experience of the initial image or the later rekindling of the neural pattern? Scientists may say "of course" or "of course not" but science itself remains mute.Burning ghost wrote: ↑December 4th, 2017, 1:07 am If you've got more than a passing interest I recommend buying Principles of Neural Science. I have the Fourth Edition, but from the reviews I've read the Fifth Edition is an improvement (if you can get the Fourth Edition much cheaper then you'd still be giving yourself a damn good grounding!)
