We are all think this on a more sorcery and magic level. Why not think of this on a more scientific level. like maybe some powers to change vector direction or such scientific powers like that. the type of powers that can be explained and studied through the mind, who knows there might be people like that in the world now

It all has to do with your mind state, it is my belief that if you were in the same mind state you were in when you were in a dream and gained supernatural powers, you would in real life gain the same powers.

For example you gained the power to fly in a dream, if you recreated your state and repeated the actions then you would in real life be able to fly.
Hi SolarMatter;

Well, I am pretty sure that what we call "supernatural" powers do exist, but how to attain them is an entirely different question. It is true that there were a lot of studies in the 70's, and most of those studies have not been successful, but this was not because the phenomenon does not exist, it does, it was because they could not control it, or produce it on demand.

You must remember that dreams and psychic phenomenon all work through the sub/unconscious mind, and this part of the mind is not directed--it is reactionary. So it is difficult to control. This part of the mind responds well to chemical influences because it is ruled mostly by emotion, which is dictated by chemicals, so some of the testing and experiments worked with chemicals. This ushered in the age of LSD experimentation and a lot of people, who believed that they could fly, splatting themselves on the ground from the tops of buildings and out of windows. So I don't recommend this approach as it is difficult to tell if you are in a dream or if you are in reality when using drugs to accomplish this.

Out of body experiences do happen, and there is documentation. I know that the University of Virginia studied out-of-body experiences, near death experiences, and reincarnation under Dr. ian Stevenson. So if you want to go flying, I suggest you try to do it this way and don't bring your body. You also might want to look up Michael Talbot, who wrote the book, The Holographic Universe. Mr. Talbot had out-of-body experiences and his book draws heavily on the theories of two prominent scientists, a physicist and a neurologist. Talbot can be found in Wiki and there is an interview with ThinkingAllowed at the bottom of his page in Wiki that you might find interesting.

Dr. Stevenson's work can be found here: medicine.virginia.edu/clinical/departme ... s-page#NDE

The hypothesis is that due to the original sin, that is the first great impact, the nervous system grows weaker.
This impact on the nervous system is like the first time we felt tingling in our back and
had a permanent damage of the nervous system without possibility to repair it.
Few people are without that damage and they do not want to be exposed.
People with a weakened nervous system cannot do the following: real levitatation,
use telepathy, telekinesis, communicate with animals, etc.

Uummm... since it was original sin that caused this "weakness", weak compared to what?

Additional explanation. Everybody of us had "the first sin", usually in early childhood (my opinion is from cca 10 months of age, not before, because nervous system is not enough developed) . It was really great stress for one person with first time in life tingling in back.
Consequence of that first great stress is that nervous system becomes damaged for the whole life. That first tingling damaged nervous system. After that stress person loses possibility to develop supernatural powers. Occasionally, if someone did non have any great stress he/she can have supernatural powers. As is described in many books, for example Levitation by the author Malte Hozzel, If this hypothesis is correct then in the future many young people can be educated with supernatural power.

As mathematician, I am investigating expressions from the New Testament, in scientific way.
To discover hidden knowledge is really great and beautiful challenge.

Child did not make "the first sin" .
Non intentionally, somebody did not enough look after child and happened first great stress to child.
"First sin" made people who did not look after child, enough.
I do not like word sin, that is way parenthesis were written.

First body tingling damaged nervous system and nervous system becomes damaged for the whole life.
After that great stress person loses possibility to develop supernatural powers.

Without great stresses, without any body tingling in whole life, man has supernatural possibilities.
That is hypothesis.

Ah so. Is there a way to avoid such stress (and avoid the nervous system damage)?

Yes, choose not to be born, that's the best option.

Everyone around child and one day adult person must be involved in this project - making man with supernatural powers.
So, not to "make first sin".
Extremely delicate job. Supernatural man or woman will live kingdom of heaven. Plan almost 2000 years old.
Sounds good?

Your proposal is not so simply to apply... Even more difficult then prove my hypothesis. :D
Oh, I have another hypothesis. Even more strange then first. Is anyone curious to read it?
