Anyway, I suppose maybe it is worth it for one to be generous even just to see who will take advantage of one's generosity. That seems to be at least somewhat what you are saying, Mike. And I agree. If you give a scoundrel $20 and never see the scoundrel again, then haven't you gotten your money's worth? And if you give someone $20, and they are a nice enough person that you do continue to see them, and they probably thus return the generosity in whatever way they do, then that is also worth more than the $20; is it not? So I guess we can't go wrong by being generous with relatively small amounts of money such as $20.
