What i worry about is the fallout hitting hardest those who least deserve it. The studio heads and sponsors will be just fine. Only a few honest reporters and editors will be attacked.

Re: The Damage is Done
I would think this is a clear case of human nature in action. We would all like to think we care about animals such as cows and imagine them wandering through meadows gently grazing. However human nature suggests we need to eat them to survive and if bill C246 indirectly doubled the price of beef this would effect our well being. At which point the primary motivator of most all our actions kick in...Fear. Sure most care about animals however they care more about their own perceived needs relating to survival such as the price of food, the profit made from food and their jobs relating to this industry. The media simply highlighted these fears which were already present they did not create them...we did.The mainstream media saw that the animal abusing establishment had no interest in seeing this bill pass and so it kept repeating irresponsibly the concerns (legitimate or not) of those who opposed it. That's what they publicized because they didn't want to make the rejection of this bill look bad on their main clients. This way, they maintain the confidence of the establishment and of the dirty and cruel industries that support them.
Personally I believe most animals in industry are treated inhumanely and it is a huge problem which needs to be addressed. I would vote for this bill in a heartbeat however I also understand most people would not and don't care what happens because they always act in their own best interests in every case. It is in their nature as semi-barbarians or as I call them right wingers and always act in their own best interests.

I would say 20 years of Fox News created Trump.Alias wrote:The mainstream media created Trump and built him up. They deserve to have him turn on them.

But is being criticized by Trump a bad thing for a reporter's career? Sounds like a book deal to me...Alias wrote:The mainstream media created Trump and built him up. They deserve to have him turn on them.
