What's your dream? What's your NY resolution?

Chat about anything your heart desires here, just be civil. Factual or scientific questions about philosophy go here (e.g. "When was Socrates born?"), and so most homework help questions belong here. Note, posts in the off-topic section will not increase new members post counts. This includes the introductions and feedback sections.

What's your dream? What's your NY resolution?

Post by Eckhart Aurelius Hughes »

This is a discussion to go along with my new short temporarily FREE book Achieve Your Dreams.

What's your dream? What shorter-term goals do you have on your way towards your dreams?

Do you have any New Years Resolutions?

Seriously, post your answers as replies!

Hopefully, we can not only all share our dreams, goals, resolutions but also help each other stay motivated and committed to each of our goals and resolutions. :)

[Related Topic ~ If you have already downloaded Achieve Your Dreams, please also post a reply in this other topic letting me know so I can personally say thank you.]
My entire political philosophy summed up in one tweet.

"The mind is a wonderful servant but a terrible master."

I believe spiritual freedom (a.k.a. self-discipline) manifests as bravery, confidence, grace, honesty, love, and inner peace.

Scott,
like Harris, I had the same problem. I am in Australia.
I have 'shared' on my Facebook page so, good luck with the book.
Regards the questions posed: I do not make resolutions as I prefer not to place expectations on myself nor project into a future.
The same goes for dreaming as there isn't anything nor anyone I want. It is enough trying to remain present

The problem may be that the link goes to the .com version of Amazon. If you use an international version of Amazon, you will likely need to go to that Amazon.

Although I do think international folks can download Kindle books from the .com version of the site, you would need to be logged in which would require you to have an account on the .com version.

My dream for this year is to travel to Athens and see the museams and the places where Socratic philosophers lived and thaught.
Also ,I'm reading Dalai Lama's teachings and meditations : how to be happy and how to love everyone.
Hope it comes in handy.
Best Regards to you everyone and happy new year,
Christelle.
