Nothing lucid about amnesia or dementia
and it might stay inside your head
There was a word but now it's gone,
the reason is - there isn't one
A paradox as you might know,
I wonder where that word did go?
As I'm thinking 'what is time?'
I try to make this poem rhyme..
The future's now and now has passed
and any deed could be your last..
If you read until the end
maybe you will comprehend.
There was a word but now it's gone,
the reason is - there isn't one.
Once it's gone it's hard to find
I guess it's somewhere in your mind?

A poem carries meaning from the author to who knows?
The reader keeps on reading to find out the way it goes..
When the reader's done, the author's message in their mind,
they have had some fun or found a reason to unwind.
What the author's made, selecting words to make it rhyme
is not designed to fade from memory even over time.
If you're feeling sad or lonely contemplate a while.
It's not all that bad if you remember how to smile.

A crazy hermit finds a buck, and with some wit and spot of luck he picks it up and walks away
then buys his supper, no delay.
While he sits and eats the food,
the tasty bits improve his mood
but death appears and lops his head, with no more fears the hermit's dead.
