So perhaps Dick Emery was actually a great sage of the 1970's light entertainment world!
Another one of his catchphrases that springs to mind: "Dad! I fink I got it wrong again." Perhaps that was supposed to be Jesus talking to God, symbolically representing the imperfect state of all humanity.

- We are inherently insane creatures that consciously clutch at the illusion of sanity.
- To walk down one road is a fools choice. To walk down many is a mad mans. Step into the fields!
- If you want to read what is being written step off the page.
- A question is s cross reference of two different realities.
- Treat a question as a tool to alter your perspective.
- Revenge is self-mutilation.
- Language is the eulogy of experience.
- Not just variety! Appreciation of variety!
- As social beings some things come to the fore; such as influence, responsibility, purpose, admiration and individuation. Some we want more than others!
- Reality accommodates where reason absconds.
- There are so many words and so little meaning for them to grasp at!
- What we understand today is due to the loss of how we previously understood.
- To realise is akin to being “startled.”
- Evil is what passes beyond the grasp of empathy. What we cannot relate to we call Evl and do Evil to!
- What we like is what we believe ourselves to be in spite of what we are.
- Belief without thought is akin to thoughtless action!
