Maybe a better idea would be to just have a book forum where people can just review and/or recommend, suggest or discuss any book they read or come across.
Besides judging from the selections the forum may just be a little too politicized.
Read "Lies My Teacher Told Me", and found it interesting that despite the conjectured misinformation or lack of information in text books which were not presented as part of the authors ideology, how did he exactly discover any corrections or omissions other than through historical documents or publications?
I found much of his presentation rhetoric. Maybe the Chinese and Russians have a better understanding of honest history judging by the way they corrected it.
