Tutorial?
No clue about the various 'functions' (quote, crappy URL, etc...) or how to use them. Thus, their posts are a garble, difficult to decypher or know if they are even talking to you.
Perhaps a requirted tutorial before being allowed to post? Teach the proper usage of the 'quote' functions, how to use the crappy 'URL' function, etc...
I think that it would improve the overall quality of the forum, appearances and discussions.
Just a suggestion...
peace

If users use the preview feature and proof-read their posts before posting them, as required by the forum rules, then I do not see how they would still have those obvious formatting errors.
The only effective way I can see to ensure this happens is for the moderators and I to strictly delete any questionable posts or posts that have clearly not been proof read. Users won't waste time making posts that will be deleted, and will either follow the rules or stop posting, thus only leaving posts that follow the rules.
I will crack down and spend a lot more on moderating and helping new users soon, like later this week. I apologize for the delay.

If people seem to be having problems, I'm sure we can include a sentence or two on how to correctly utilize the functions, or at least reference Scott's articles on correct usage.
A pretty easy solution, I think, that wouldn't require a whole lot of effort.

Yes, I would also like if you could use the report function to report these posts. It makes it very easy to see the post and keep a record of moderation made.whitetrshsoldier wrote:We're all members, and we can all help.

The propaganda is hillarious! No offense intended, of course. Congrats on your son, by the way!
