To the contrary, as a journ grad and an erstwhile writer I assure your software mavens that it’s indeed full and grammatically correct

Software “engineers” being savants competent at juggling bits and bytes but otherwise illiterate, doubtless they’re confused between concepts of grammar and punctuation

Yes, one thing that can generate that error message is the lack of an end-of-sentence punctuation mark.

No, I don't. It's in the forum rules that users must genuinely try to use correct spelling, grammar and punctuation, proofread their posts and use a spellchecker (unless unneeded because the person is such a good speller).

It's not problem. The filter only runs on the on-topic parts of the forum, not in the off-topic section or PMs.
