Concensus Building

Post by MalkuthSamanera1 » May 14th, 2013, 10:34 am

Would it be possible or desirable to have, every month, some kind of ethical question that people vote on, or a scenario where people vote on what they would do out of a few options?

If there is significant disagreement could new scenarios / questions be designed in order to find points of agreement?

In other words, could questionnaires or scenarios be used to build concensus and community amongst this online philosophy crowd, or is it not necessary or desirable to build more of a sense of community...is that just happening well enough by people making personal connections with other posters?

Isn't that what's being done here already, just not in that exact format? Anyway, do you think that community may only be found in consensus?
