Beyond Good and Evil by Neitzsche. Time for a reevaluation that separates it from the Nazi interpretation

I nominate: "Experimental Phenomenology --- An Introduction" ...... by Don Ihde

153 pages ....................... "I have tried to show the few steps in the dance that is Phenomenology, but only some elementary ones. I hope that there are those who can do the same steps and to find in them an excitement and satisfaction that will lead further. To Phenomenology there is no end." Quoted from the book.

I have posted the topic to cast your vote for the February book of the month and the topic to discuss the January book of the month, Two Cheers for Anarchism.

Please continue to use this topic to post nominations. At the time of this post, nominations will be for March.

Thank you!

I nominate a book from Amazon.

Author: Michael Navreau Title: 777

This book incorporates the crucial issues of our times in terms of cosmology and philosophy in a symbiotic harmony.

I would like to put in a March BOTM suggestion for Alan Watt's The Book: On the Taboo Against Knowing Who You Are. It is a very engaging read and at an average of 163 pages reads quickly and concisely.

I nominate _The Beginning of Infinity_, by David Deutsch. Some quotes to spark interest:

"All problems are soluble."

"...everything that is not forbidden by laws of nature is achievable, given the right knowledge."

"So it is fallibilism, not mere rejection of authority, that is essential for the initiation of unlimited knowledge growth – the beginning of infinity."

"The overwhelming majority of theories are rejected because they contain bad explanations, not because they fail experimental tests."

"Biological evolution was merely a finite preface to the main story of evolution, the unbounded evolution of memes."
We are all fallible -- anyone of us can be wrong about any one of our ideas. So shielding any one of my ideas from criticism means irrationally believing that I have the truth.

An excellent book that looks at the obvious metaphysical questions we ponder, in a perfectly constructed means through which the author, using personal experience, short historical narratives of oustanding minds in history, from philosophers such as Schopenhauer and Sartre, to Nobel Prize winning scientists, scouring all human endeavours in thought, attempts to answer these questions, while always impressing the importance of asking them.

"Who Am I? and if so, how many?
by Richard David Precht.

Superb.

Well, I would nominate the book I wrote as book of the month... I will write a little ditty because I am bored and include a link (out of several) to the eBook:

The generous seas do roam vividly, And sacred words spoken earnestly. People suffer and people go to war, I just hope these words will go afar.

On 26-4-2013 I published a FREE book, Indeed a feat of altruism, no crook! I suffer in silence in every moment. I have no money to publish a stunt.

I was just hoping for word-of-mouth - And email propagation as loudmouth. - Book is at: http://bookbooster.com/newage.htm - I accept feedback just at: [email protected]
