Introduction of Thomas (Tao Math) in Switzerland
I have somewhat recently begun earnest questioning about the nature of our reality, and in so doing have consistently encountered Taoist interpretations (which I've later discovered are also ancient greek interpretations, but my blog was already up and its name was set), hence the name of my 'blog'. Also, I thought it 'sounded' somewhat close to my own name, so kept it. I have no formal philosophical education, but am earnest, and am avidly trying to pick-up that slack by reading as much as I can, as fast as I can.
I am a British-American expat living in Switzerland. Though my search for the nature of reality started-out as a search from a physics perspective, I aim to migrate my thinking towards more human answers (I avoid the words 'spiritual' or 'religious') and thus develop as comprehensive a world-view as I can. That being said, I have developed a personal preference for a non-theist perspective - not because I claim to know that no god exists, but because I think it is a mature conscious choice to make.
I hope to learn as much as I can here, and provide as much helpful questioning to aid all of you in your own advancement.
Thanks and see you soon!
Thomas
