Hi my short introduction

Post by Robgoodone »

Hello everyone.

I just wanted to introduce myself. I've never really been into philosophy until recently so I want to learn more about it. I consider myself average or maybe below average in the intellectual department and I wan't to improve it in all ways. I sometimes have trouble arguing/debating my points and sometimes have trouble understanding & catching on to be real, I'm a slow learner but I am willing to read and learn even with my short attention span. My favorite topics to discuss/read are politics and religion (I'm an Atheist former Christian) and I really don't much about those two as well, but like I said I want to expand my knowledge across the board. Thank you guys for this wonderful forum!

Don't judge me too hard.

The famous 20th century philosopher Ludwig Wittgenstein said:
In philosophy the race is to the one who can run slowest—the one who crosses the finish line last. (Culture and Value)
