Recognition of subject matter

Post by BelieveNothing »

I've been trying to post in ethics and morality about how intelligence relates to cruelty but your system keeps telling me my chosen subject is too similar to posts already on here.

I cant think of an alternative tittle that isnt being erroniously compared to existing tittles.

e.g. what has "intelligence related to cruelty" got to do with "artificial intelligence and personhood"?

Your system seems to simply pick up on identical words and not realy distinguish subject matters.

Here is the post I've tried to submit:

Without empathy we would not recognise cruelty to others. In the animal kingdom there is lots of behaviour that ethically minded people would avoid - or is there? Let's not forget that humans are animals too. We share more similarities with animals than differences. I think cruelty is only an idea that people recognise and people only recognise it because of intelligence.

I also believe that the more intelligent people are then the more potential they have for being cruel.

What is cruelty? And is it really more intelligent to be less cruel?

I for one am constantly exposed to violence and cruelty by television and computer games. I'm sure there is more deliberate cruelty in the world today than there ever has been before. I would like to believe there is also more intelligence. Let me suggest that the persuit of knowledge and practice of philosophy will only lead to more cruelty and ask can anyone explain how cruelty can be reduced? I mean it seems to be the case that most of us live in a nasty world full of nasty people and things are getting worse for the most part.

Can you suggest a tittle that will not clash please?
Reality is not all in your mind.

AFAIK, that is only a suggestion.

What do you mean by potential? That is a physics term.

Does being cruel mean doing something to someone against their will?

Games that depict violence, are not violent. Violence is involuntary. Games are voluntary.
We are all fallible -- anyone of us can be wrong about any one of our ideas. So shielding any one of my ideas from criticism means irrationally believing that I have the truth.
