Id like to know what all these philosophers would think of the idea of being a superhero and what superhero they would be if they could be one.

I would either be superman probably prime-superman or I would be the beyonder...

Or I would be some unknown superhero that has yet to be revealed.

I personaly believe that we should all at least be trying to become a superhero. If only to fly around and beat up bad guys.

I pick Mr. Fantastic, Reed Richards! Smile For the obvious reason, Jessica Alba, I mean Sue Storm, the invisible girl. Besides his superpower helps getting in and out of tight places, if you know what I mean. Wink

I would be batman, maybe spider man. But as a villain the red skull or the joker. (So many choices)

P.S I think being a super hero would be freaking' awesome!!!

One of the reasons I choose Reed Richards, AKA Mr. Fantastic, is that he has no secret identity so does not have the sad effect of coping with a dual personality.

One of the apparent effects of "superherodom" is trying to be as normal as the average person and swiftly becoming above average in physical and mental effect.

What do you think about being something you're not even if you don't know which is the real you like we see in Batman and Bruce Wayne?

Dr. Manhattan(Jon Osterman) from "The Watchmen". God, I just want the telekinesis. That would be so cool. Cause it seems if you can manipulate matter with you're mind, you could just pick yourself up and fly around for fun. Of course you can teleport too. Basically you can do almost anything.

Quote:
Jon Osterman:I have walked on the surface of the Sun... witnessed events so tiny and so fast, that they can hardly be said to have occurred at all. But you, Adrian, you're just a man. The world's smartest man poses no more threat to me than does its smartest termite.

Quote from Movie-"The Watchmen(2009)"

"REALLY, WHY IS THIS IN THE GENERAL PHILOSOPHY SECTION?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!"

wanabe, I think you just won the forum award for the most exclamatory symbols after a sentence. Is there a prize for that?

But I think we can rephrase the question to fit here... how about "which superhero's philosophy best (or least) matches your own"?

Me, I kind of like the Atom. I could explore the quantum world first-hand. And supposedly, in that world, you have greater free will, because just changing your view of reality will change reality itself. Cool
