Send or reply to a PM?
Edit a post? Something else?

Re: How do you update a message?
I see messages, with a "updated on soandso date" and then an addition to the message.
I wondered how that is done.
I understand there's no editing, that's ok. But how to add to a message?

The trick is to take the leap.
What does this mean? For some it means an acknowledgement that we do not know, an acceptance of our ignorance. But for some it becomes a matter of the unfettered imagination insisting that their imaginative claims are beyond critical examination. Poetry in the guise of absolute knowledge.
Meh. You are free to believe what you want to believe, but it means get out your head.

Do you not know that there is a difference between the unknown and the unknowable?
Why set boundaries? You know you're doing exactly what Brutaeu described in the excerpt, don't you?

The message means you wrote a new post but no one had posted since your prior posting, so the forum automatically puts your last two posts together, delineated by "-- Updated [date, time] to add the following --".

Re: How do you update a message?
I remember it used to work that way for me, but it doesn't seem to anymore. If I try to post again I get a new post with that overweight avatar repeating.
Now, why do my pictures, perfectly good little jpegs, seem to not come in, and with the tag "not downloaded yet"?
Also, why aren't posts numbered anymore? That was a handy feature.
Not complaining!

Well, there was an update a while ago. Personally, I'm stoked with the notifications of replies etc. A big help in organising. I didn't notice the post numbering.3uGH7D4MLj wrote: ↑January 11th, 2018, 9:59 am Hi,

There's no send button, just submit, and the message doesn't go out.
Am I missing a step?
