What is your song, what says everything for you

Post Number:#1  PostDecember 11th, 2011, 10:14 pm

Mine goes back to when I could sing before I could speak, Mine is "Two little boys." by Rolf Harris
Where I come from, I spent time collecting bullets from the road as a child.
Later people laughed at me, they didn't believe me, or chose not to, like the song I was laughed at. I love you Sunny Suffolk, Blacks Road...Ulster.
Men are not disturbed by things, but the view they take of things.....Epictetus

"Tom Sawyer" by Rush. Not in a literally descriptive way; more in an emotional/idealistic way.

-- Updated Fri Dec 23, 2011 5:30 pm to add the following --

On second thought, to get the song that captures everything for me, I'd have to somehow merge Rush's "Tom Sawyer" with Steely Dan's "Deacon Blues", with all the respective parts complementing each other, not contradicting each other. Just like trying to get everything in life to work together, I don't think I can fuse those 2 songs.
