The United States is a democratic republic and has had a pretty good run so far. In principle it is a classless society. Although there are economic classes, this is not the same thing as an aristocracy. At least in theory there is upward mobility. Someone like Trump is not a member of the upper economic class because he is morally and intellectually superior.
