I don't think a vast majority of humans can ever break free of second hand knowledge from the past. It's just not something they want to do,they relish and rely on the appeal to authority.

But suppose they saw the dangers of continuing like this. Right now they aren't seeing it as the mind/brain is deteriorated, by conditioning, by bias, by the burden of knowledge, by ill-emotions etc. It isn't clear, fresh, sharp, precise, healthy and so on. But if they could, how do you suppose they can approach these issues so that there is freedom?

But,if these folk saw it they would suppress that knowledge of the danger ,try to run away from it,like an ostriches head in the sand.
Or they would breakdown at the fear of deteriation.
If they tried to think clearer they would only use that clear thought for control and not for freedom.
