Use this philosophy forum to discuss and debate general philosophy topics that don't fit into one of the other categories.
This forum is NOT for factual, informational or scientific questions about philosophy (e.g. "What year was Socrates born?"). Those kind of questions can be asked in the off-topic section.

How do you keep yourself up to date about last philosophy tendencies, research, important topics, new ideas?
I’d like to put the question also in a more general sense: how do you keep yourself up to date about latest tendencies in culture, literature, art?
What are your favourite magazines, journals, websites, books, publishers, sources for this purpose?

I'm surprised that the science fanboys have nothing to say. I'm mostly interested in ethics, morality, self-improvement, psychology and such. I don't think there is much urgency to keep up with the news on these fronts. Rather, there is a wealth of stuff to discover going back in time. Most of what I want to read is in the public domain, and I can access it on the web for free with a quick search.
"If determinism holds, then past events have conspired to cause me to hold this view--it is out of my control. Either I am right about free will, or it is not my fault that I am wrong."
