WanderingGaze22 wrote: November 7th, 2021, 3:14 am Billionaire and Tesla founder Elon Musk offered to give $6 billion USD to the UN if they can solve world hunger and be able to feed 42 million people. His net worth is currently $318 billion. Do we feel this much money can be able to change the world for the better after all this time? Could this near-fictional goal actually be achievable? Where could we go afterwards? The link below has an article published on Nov 2nd.

It's a noble gesture, and if he follows through with it and he's smart (which he is) he'll insist on his accountants being on-site and overseeing every dollar spent.
An altruistic entrepreneur could be what we need for a fresh start after all.

Yes, I'm reminded of the old proverb about the merits of encouraging self-sufficiency:

"If you give a man a fish, you feed him for a day. If you teach a man to fish, you feed him for a lifetime."

I guess it should really go on to say: "...teach a man to fish sustainably, while preserving fish stocks and negotiating successfully with neighbours over fishing rights, and teach him how to setup and maintain an efficient seafood supply chain and distributions system, including refrigeration, stable electricity supply, the rule of law to protect his fish supply from theft and habitat destruction and polution, ..."

etc.

(Incidentally, we here in the UK certainly aren't in a position to lecture anybody about keeping on good terms with our fishing neighbours right now.)
Maybe, inspiring words though.

Precisely, Elon must be on to something for him to take a chance with someone like the UN.
The UN seems to be the facade of future one world government tyranny.

United Nations Wants a One-World Government Within 10 Years
”… This projected transformation detailing (yet without details) a new world order of environmental responsibility and a significant reduction of poverty and hunger never speaks to the practical dimension of vast manipulations of people by cynical leaders and ignorant bureaucrats who hold their positions through terrorism and bribery. They never discuss incompetence and corruption, twin brothers in the family of venality. The document portrays a sincere world where all those in power want to help humanity despite the daily evidence of the selfishness, corruption, murderous intents, devilish manipulations, thefts, personal immoralities, hatreds, and utter depravity of many governmental leaders in every country in the world, and among the leaders of business as well. Is not the Agenda for Sustainable Development itself one of those devilish manipulations?…”

One above all especially if it is one of us tends not to end well. Best example will always be Julius Caesar.
