You seem to be unfamiliar with the annoying, beautiful woman

I've not only fallen in love with tons of those, I've married a few of them.

Living as a child in the 1960s I was the ONLY child in my class from a "broken home". By the time I left school there was a large number of such children all around me. This is not just statistical but reflects a big change in British attitudes to marriage in general from that time.
This always made me skeptical of marriage. So despite several long term relationships when I did finally marry it was for purely financial reasons.
I've always found it odd that people could repeat the folly.

Not sure how I managed to avoid this obvious elephant trap.
Whilst it would be unlikely that I would easily fall in love with an ugly person, I tend not to find beautiful women very.... well beautiful.
Most often women with physical beauty have learned to think that looks are most important, and tend to go for guys who also have conventionally good looks. A recipe for disaster as they spend their lives competing for the moisturising cream!
Beautiful women, - those that know it are complete bores; aloof, and entitled.
The person under the skin is where the real beauty lies.
Cliche maybe, but that has worked for me.

I'm on my fourth marriage now, and this one has lasted twenty years so far. I could say I've mellowed, but it's more like I finally found my Sharon Osbourne. Remember I'm in the entertainment biz. It's not so unusual for folks in that line of work to be married multiple times. My first wife was in the entertainment biz, too--I met her via working with her. My second wife wasn't in entertainment, but she was in an ancillary industry. Third wife was a friend of hers. Current wife I met by chance in a bookstore.

I can't "remember" what I never knew.
Tell me about your "entertainment biz"!!

We all need a Sharon Osbourne at times, But we need to escape her at some point so no marriage for me. I only hope, for your sake, that her Dad is not like Sharon's. This is an example of a functioning psychopath.

I'm a musician, composer/songwriter and arranger. I first started getting paid as a musician all the way back in 1974/1975. First did it full time in the early 80s.

I've worked in a bunch of different genres. I work a lot as a studio musician and as a journeyman (a "gun for hire" for touring purposes). I've done a lot of ghost work in the studio. I've done a fair amount of film composition, too. I've worked with some pretty famous people, but I prefer to be anonymous online. ;-)

My wheelhouse as a musician is progressive rock and jazz-fusion. The stuff I do on my own is mostly in that vein.

I'm on lots of albums, yes. Sometimes credited, sometimes not (as I mentioned I've done a lot of ghost work.)
