New thought on Human Purpose

Post by Butexplainwhy »

Could the universe be a living organism with anatomy?

Would planets serve a purpose to keep that organism alive?

Disprove or back up with your thoughts/

If true our perspective would be way, way, way too narrow to appreciate, let alone describe such a situation.

If the "universe is a living organism with anatomy" and planets are a part of that living organism and anatomy, I would say
they would serve a purpose in helping to sustain it. Don't see your point though. All living organisms parts help to sustain them.

You do know this idea occurs, in some slight variation, to every imaginative high-school student, right? It's not exactly revolutionary.

If it were a proper analogy of bodies, each solar system could be compared to a cell - at most.
Of course, every body is composed of its cells and cannot maintain structural integrity - alive, dead or inanimate - without cells. On the other hand, living organisms lose cells all the time and generate new ones, so each particular cell has very little significance. None of this is in any way related to human purpose.

I like this answer the best.

It taps on the disconnectedness of the topic in the title with the questions raised in the body.

Yet it's a fresh and new topic, and we are hungry for those... it does not matter how incredibly unimaginative a topic is, because what matters is that we like topics, and the newer-fresher sounding a topic is, the more we like it.

-- November 11th, 2016, 1:06 am --

So maybe the topic we must relate to is "how to tie the world view of possibly larger anatomical beings of the size of super-galaxies and such, to our own, human, experience and how can we imagine that our purpose (if any existed) is the same or similar to the purpose of these super-large beings?"

My own stance on the subject is that humans have no "higher" purpose; human existence is empty, void of meaning, and it is a mere happenstance, without any major or forever-lasting consequences.

This is easily proven to be different or the same from or as the experience or opinion of the super-galaxy-sized anatomical beings. Especially around the Curpus Lauderum, which connects the Uvula with the Bori Bori Islands in the abdomen area, and the tendons on the left foot's big toe.

I stand by this. I am committed to this truth, and can verily defend it in case of a challenge.

-- November 11th, 2016, 1:14 am --

CORRECTION: PLEASE STRIKE "...Islands in the abdomen area,..." and substitute it with "...Islands in the abdomen and abdowomen area,..."

Thanks. I don't want to be stuck with the label "politically incorrect."

Nice. I'm not sure whether the Sun is the nucleus or the Sun plus the planets.

I suggest that humans holed up in their little apartments with home-delivered food, and constant internet feeds and telecommunications are increasingly looking like mitochondria starting to surrender their "free swimming" status for the security of their technological cells (or at least, they are the ones who are surviving).

Large institutions are made up of multiple coordinated such "cells" and these organisms specialise in extracting their resources from smaller institutions and individuals. Ironically, I first had the idea of organisations as organisms while working in a records department of a large-ish organisation in the 80s. My impression was that a records department is the bowel of an organisation - the place where stuff goes to be kept for a while (often five or seven years) and "nutrients" are drawn from them during that time before disposal.

In this model, senior management was the brain, of course, middle managers as nerve centres and supervisors as nerves. Sense organs were security, R & D, market research. The mouth would be accounts receivable and corporate communications (although other body parts will send unintended communications). The stomach would be the treasury and the heart would be accounts and payroll. Hands would be operations (unless a professional football player, who would need a different "corporate structure"). The skeleton and skin provide infrastructure. I never worked out what area the lungs would be.

Sine-wave frequency is the heart ergo the cosmic time factor of Universe. The inside body/volume of everycombined set of torodial trajectories, in ever particle of Universe, is the time frequency factor aka sine-wave pattern. In the following four/level line pattern 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18, 21, 24 is the body/volume sine-wave frequency set.

....1..........5...7.............11......13.................17......19................23........outer positive shaped gravity geodesic

0.................6....................12...........................18............................24...time ^...^ reality, physical/energy ^v
..........3...............9............................15..........................21....................time....v....v reality, physical/energy ^v

.......2....4.........8....10...................14.....16.................20.....22...............inner negative shaped dark energy geodesic.

The above is the inside-outed version of my original, numerical, four level line, hexa/hepta-wave pattern.

Prime 31 is associated with icosahedron s graviational space

24 is associated with the VE

There is no universal human purpose.

"Cogito ergo sum[a] is a Latin philosophical proposition by René Descartes usually translated into English as "I think, therefore I am".

That is it.

No more or no less.

Mankind has no meaning.

We just exist and then we die, and that is all there is. There is no Heaven or Hades; just silly man-made concepts.

Geaorge1949, that's a sad view on reality. Of course if you are comfortable in such a view without feeling the least depressed, then I can't argue with such view. However, most of us want to live, even when things get bad sometime in life. Therefore, we can infer that humanity wants to live and if nothing else, the immediate human purpose is to survive. Now the question becomes "what would be the best way to assure survival?" so that in the future we are still here to make even gender inferences as to the human purpose.

Biologicals want to survive for sure. Fred Hoyle points out that, if left unchecked, bacteria would reproduce so rapidly so as the equal the mass of the known Universe-- 1990's--- within 6 months.

Is that their purpose, to survive? No. Purpose is what humans apply to ourselves and our environment.

A bigger question is their purpose as to why gravitiational Space ( ) inverts at its peak of positive curvature and why dark energy Space )( inverts at the peak of its negative curvature?

(^v)(v^) = bisection of Space ( ) - Time^v - Space )( torus

Why does the human animal egg invert to create the spinal chord?

From a purely numerical sequence, we see the first inversion being associated with #3{ observed time/reality } from dark energy peak of curvature #2.

2-3-4 is a triangulation set .*.

5-6-7 is triangulation set

3-6-9-12-15 etc.... is its own triangulation set the defines a sine-wave.

A dynamic torus involutes-evolutes{ outvolutes }. Gravity inverts{ pops in } but comes back out{ pops out }. Dark energy inverts but pops back out.

#1 ---> #2 is curved geodesic trajectory from outer peak of positive curvature to inner peak of negative curvature.

#4 ---> #5 is curved geodesic trajectory from peak of inner negative curvature to peak of outer positive curvature.

Our observed sine-wave time/reality short circuits{ inversion } the flow of geodesic curvature. Why?

And why not invert at the peak of flat surface of torus? I think there must exist a cosmic limit of curvature, that causes the inversion. Just as we have a cosmic speed limit for observed time/reality.

r6, I see that you have a good general understanding on a cosmic scale but for most people the Biological purpose should suffice for now, so that we don't behave like bacteria.

Of course I wouldn't mind Tesla, Jan Poul II, or Buddha's genomes passed down to be more prevalent in the population but the most interesting genes usually die out.

There was no sadness or happiness in my statement. The quality of one’s life is not measurable by any concrete standards that are not subject to debate; quality of life is just another manmade concept based on arbitrary manmade barometers, e.g., how wealthy you are, how healthy you are, etc. For example, is one Billionaire happier that another billionaire?

I said nothing about wanting to die or live. Again, you recognize reality because you think. Again, Descartes was right on the money when he said “Cogito ergo sum – I think, therefore I am.”

You mention depression; I did not.

I am confused with your statement, “Most of us want to live, even when things get bad sometime in life.”

Wow, what a profound thought!

With you statement “what would be the best way to assure survival?” so that in the future we are still here to make even gender inferences as to the human purpose.”

You have left the original topic.

It is most likely that the Universe will exist for trillions of years or more into the future. Most likely the human race will exist for thousands of years to come or more.

But, in closing, the human race has no universal purpose except to exist. There is no grandiose plan for the human race, unless you believe in the superstitious tenants as exposed by many religions, Heaven, Hades, God, Angels, the Devil, etc.

To be clear, I do not agree with this torus model of Universe video but I understand approach i.e I understand where their coming from with it.
