How we can come to know "triangle" Descartes & Locke
Give at least 2 examples of how we come to know "triangle" using explanations of both Descartes and Locke. Offer an argument as to why you prefer one over the other.

In actual fact, Descartes and Locke stand for the two really meaningful ways we can know something. If you choose to say that you know something because a dead person told you, or because you have mystical knowledge you will have a really hard time supporting your argument.
Your essay therefor should evaluates the epistomological stances of Descartes and of Locke. You will find that a dictionary of philosophy is useful.

Then we also need to discuss this option Y
If turn my given above /\ top-side down, and the place the Y inside of it we have birds-eye-view of a tetrahedron aka a triangular based pyramid.
Ex \Y/ and that texticonic version does not do justice to the concept I intend.
We can go further with comprehensive scenario via 2ndary symbolism by adding dots/asterisks to our triangle sets. Fuller like to represent consciousness with a circle and two dots inside ex ( * * )
I did similar thing with the two triangles sets as 2ndary symbolism of male *Y* and female \**/
Easy to draw on paper. If we place male Y inside of female \/ we get \Y/ ergo a birds-eye-view of the 3D tetrahedron.
*Y* as male consciousness and testes on outside
\**/ as female consciousness and ovaries on the inside
The tetrahedron is the minimal structural system of Universe. Perhaps some cosmic concept of male and female can be considered with tetrahedron also, beyond 2D 2ndary symbolism. I think yes and in more ways than I can clearly explain with texticoninc symbols.
Go this URL that follows and see that a parrallel bisected tetrahedron--- graphic on the left ---has two equal halves. Same shape, same size etc......
http://www.rwgrayprojects.com/synerget ... 00103.html
And this site also shows parrellel bisection having two halves at 90 degrees to each other.
http://www.rwgrayprojects.com/synergeti ... f2708.html
In this sense we say that like in man made law or some metaphysical-1 spiritual sense one of those halves is male and one is female and there equal.
However, take note, that, there at 90 degrees to each other. This becomes significant if we consider dynamic functioning of these two halves. One two conceptualize dynamic functioning is to conceptually spin a line, a dot a vertex etc....in the above graphics we can see that each half has and outer line/chord, that is 90 at 90 degrees to the other halfs outer line/chord.
If we conceptually spin-- conceptual dynamics ---each half around a common center then the each line/chord defines a plane. The tetrahedron has 6 of these lines/chords. If each is spun then we would have 6 great circle planes. See following link to see three sets of these two diametrically opposing lines/chords, spun as great circle planes, at 90 degrees to each other.

My point here above in the latter being, that, male and female tho equal in some metaphysical-1 sense, function differently, and at optimum, at 90 degrees to each to each other. This is not to say male and female can not be operating at nearly the same plane, and in same direction ergo congruent in almost every what, what I'm saying is, that at optimum functionality, they operate at 90 degrees, yet have flexibility to wobble and operate left or right and any degrees to each other.
The worse possible scenario--- I think, and correct me if I'm incorrect - is if they spin in opposite directions and are nearly congruent with their spin, as that is greatest chance of head on smashing together and at head on direction.
There is much further I can go with this scenario in geometric terms. That however is the basic starting place.

Descartes represents a triangle, and Locke represents a triangle . Both Descartes and Locke share one side which is called "knowledge" yet the remaining sides of these two triangles are very different. Descartes two remaining sides are "Experience" and Deduction. Locke's are "Sensation and "Observation."

Also, since women in general, have more bilateral thought processing going on, we can relate the the long line/chord, on one of those two parallel bisected halves.
Think of it this way, the long line/chord on each have is representative of two hemi-spheres because each have two end points.
.___________. = female \/
.____________. = male Y
So with one of them there is more interplay between those two end points, than the other. More back-n-forth occurring ergo that one represents female. Previously, I gave link to six spin-planes defined by conceptual spining of these long lines/chords.
rwgrayprojects.com/synergetics/s04/figs ... f5511.html
So with more action between womans two end points-- two hemi-spheres of brain ----does that spin plane or tetrahedron halve wobble more then the mans? Maybe the mans wobbles more because it is more lopsided.
I tend to think of the womans having more back-n-forth wobble in her spin plane.
Man tends to be more focused and focus-able, like EM-Radiation, even tho radiations does have two charges for both electric sine-wave field and magnetic sine-wave field.
Woman tends to be more omni-considerate like gravity being all embracing, even tho it is not believed to have di-polar charges.
