Q1: Neither true, nor false, nor both, nor neither.WanderingGaze22 wrote: ↑January 11th, 2022, 4:32 am The following sentence is false. The preceding sentence is true. Are these sentences true or false? How similar is this to the "this statement is a lie" paradox? How much different? How is that sentence able to exist as a conflicting answer? Can this statement be applied elsewhere in the world?
Q2: Neither similar, nor dissimilar, nor both, nor neither.
Q3: Neither different, nor equal, nor both, nor neither.
Q4: Neither does that sentence exist, nor does it not exist, nor both, nor neither.
Q5: Neither yes, nor no, nor both, nor neither.
Hopefully this remedies your problems.

Neither. They are conflicting, as the author intended.WanderingGaze22 wrote: ↑January 11th, 2022, 4:32 am The following sentence is false. The preceding sentence is true.
Are these sentences true or false?

Re: True and False Statement
It's just an issue with how we use language isn't it? We generally use language to describe an actual state of affairs which can be a true description or false. But there's no state of affairs to check against here for truth/falseness, just language representing contradictory concepts juxtaposed with each other. I think?WanderingGaze22 wrote: ↑January 11th, 2022, 4:32 am The following sentence is false. The preceding sentence is true. Are these sentences true or false?
