The idea that life is a biochemical 🔥 fire and 'owned' on an individual level

Post by psyreporter »

Some time ago in 2021 I discovered that the farthest distance that an animal, insect or bacteria had travelled in space was the Moon. As it turns out, humans are actively preparing for a manned mission to Mars in 2030 - a multi-trillion USD endeavour - while it was never tested whether Earth life can remain alive at a further distance from Earth than the Moon.

How is it possible that it was never tested whether Earth life can remain alive deeper in space? The cause appears to be the stubborn dogma that life is an independent biochemical process that started in a primordial chemical soup.

There is an indication that life on earth may be tied to Solar-neutrino energy from the 🌞 Sun. On Earth, life is bathing in a continuous stream of Solar-neutrino energy at all times, including after sunset and on the dark side of Earth. Neutrinos can change their mass up to 3000x in size, by themselves, which is called flavour switching or morphing. It is why the particle is called a ‘ghost particle’ (spooky particle).

When Solar-neutrino energy is a 'topical' source of life that could imply that Earth life may be bound to a region around the 🌞 Sun.

The following is a short perspective on the philosophical issue of space travel that I wrote on it recently:

👽 Where are the aliens?

Most people in the modern world view life as something that is owned on an individual level, as something that can be taken with one during space travel. Popular films such as Star Trek and Star Wars have displayed a future in which humans travel through space.

Some scientists are wondering however: why is the Solar system and Earth not crowded with alien visitors? Why, after decades of space science, has no hint been found for the existence of extraterrestrial life?

Philosophy suppressed

The post–World War II era is considered to be an 'anti-philosophy' era in which philosophy was increasingly placed on a level comparable with that of religions. In a sense, while science originates from philosophy, science has attempted to overcome philosophy and intended to rid itself of any influence of philosophy, which includes morality.

In 2021 I discovered that the farthest distance that an animal, insect or bacteria had travelled in space was the Moon and meanwhile trillions of USD were already invested for a manned mission to Mars in 2030.

Science it's dogmatic influence on behalf of determinism, the ground upon which science envisions itself to become master of the Universe, has resulted in a such a repression that it was never considered that Earth life may be bound to a region around the 🌞 Sun.

Philosophy naturally would have posed the following questions:
  1. Is there at least one clue that Earth life is independent from the Solar system?
  2. On what basis is it valid to consider that life is like a biochemical fire that can be taken with one during space travel?
Based on these questions, the first thing to test would be whether Earth life can remain alive further away from Earth. Yet, as of 2021 it was never tested because mainstream science intends to steer to a perspective in which life is a deterministic biochemical process and consciousness an illusion.

When life would be bound to a region around a star, it could explain why the Universe is not crowded with alien activity.

Because the origin of life is unknown, it is evident that science intends to use atheism fuelled neglect – the stubbornly ignoring of the question 'why' life exists – as ground for among other things a synthetic biology revolution in which animal and plant life is rendered meaningless beyond the scope of empirical value, and the multi trillion USD preparation for a manned mission to Mars in 2030.

Elon Musk stated that a manned mission to Mars could happen as early as 2029 on Wednesday when asked on Twitter.

Question: did you ever consider whether life might require a topical origin and if so, do you think that it would be plausible to consider that such an origin of life would be subjective (i.e. 'owned' on an individual level)?

The idea that life started in a primordial chemical soup (random chemistry) is questionable.

I was just reading the book The Mystery of Life's Origin, a re-published classic on the subject 'Intelligent Design' (scientific version) with multiple authors including new additions by philosopher of science Stephen C. Meyer (stephencmeyer.org)

There are some clues that life on Earth has a special origin.

An example is the Cambrian explosion, a period of the early earth ~530 million years ago in which all the basic structures of life forms of earth suddenly appeared on earth.

(2020) The Cambrian Explosion Mystery: Fossils still say no to Darwin
In the Cambrian Explosion, all the major animal groups first appear as fossils. They appear suddenly, fully-formed, and functional, and the older rock layers below them contain no ancestors.
https://www.icr.org/article/the-fossils ... -explosion

It was known and unexplainable during Charles Darwin's time but he said that science would find the 'missing' transition fossils.

Until today, those transition fossils haven't been found which may indicate that the evolution theory isn't valid and that life forms ('kind' in nature) have a different origin.

Another clue may be what is named 🦀 carcinization. In nature, crustacean animals keep evolving into asymmetrical crab-form with one big claw and a smaller claw, and many features that are specific to crab-form. It received its own name: carcinization.

As mentioned in the OP, there is an indication that life on earth may be tied to Solar-neutrino energy from the 🌞 Sun.

In a Supernovae explosion, 99% of a stars energy is released into the Universe in the form of neutrinos. A recent study showed a correlation between supernovae explosions and an explosion of life forms on earth.

(2022) Supernovae and life on Earth appear closely connected
A remarkable link between the number of nearby exploding stars, called supernovae, and life on Earth has been discovered.

Sensing: the root of life

Life concerns subjective experience and experience is always based on sense-data. It is seen in biological cells, even in the tiniest most primitive ones such as yeast, that the cell is sensing its environment with actual 'comprehension' of its complex outer world (i.e. for the purpose of 'exploration' in the face of an unknown future).

Cells sense their environment to explore it (2017)
https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2 ... 125821.htm

Paradox

Subjective experience (e.g. consciousness as it has manifested in humans) cannot have preceded the sense-data and that means that sensing is primary.

It causes a paradox because when it concerns sensing, it concerns an aspect that provides any potential sense-data that can be used to facilitate subjective experience but sensing itself requires subjectivity, for example attention for an 'outer world' (attention for an 'other').

A thought experiment shows the paradox: how can you envision yourself (as a subjective experience) in complete darkness (nothingness) to then all of the sudden to become motivated to 'explore an outer world'? The subjective experience that is required at the root of life wouldn't have any ground to be subjective of.

Thus it is seen that sensing requires something that cannot originate on a subjective level. The origin of life therefore, cannot be subjective of nature.

Yes, it seems to be correct that sensing is primary - that sensing is an aspect before subjective experience can manifest itself - and that implies that when one is to consider the 'chicken vs egg' question (what came first, the 🐓 chicken or the 🥚 egg) when it concerns sensing (consciousness or observing as a manifestation) and the sensible world (physical reality) that sensing must have come first.

It would imply that the complete human body, including the brain and sensing organisms, are a product of sensing. It would imply that sensing underlays physical reality. Further, sensing itself is to have a non-subjective origin or nature.

It is a new perspective. Panpsychism theory considers consciousness to underlay the Universe but as the sensing-paradox shows, consciousness or 'the observer' are necessarily a manifestation of sensing.

When sensing is to be considered the root of the Universe, it makes sense that the Universe is sensible.

A deeper philosophical inspection of the concept sensing as a fundamental concept of reality seems applicable. Does anyone have references?
