Re: stuck in a metaphysical state
I wonder to what extent being stuck in a metaphysical state differs or is similar to a psychological state, or the idea of the existential void. I can empathise with the idea that 'intuition forces me to follow a pattern', and some of it may come down to coping mechanisms, as the cognitive behavioral psychologists recognise. However, it may go deeper, to the core of what it means to be a human being. Intuition does seem an important aspect of psychological or epistemological knowledge, and it may be worth considering where intuitions come from, especially in relation to the environment, as the raw physicality which underlies the subjective, intersubjective and objective aspects which dictate so much of thoughts and human experiences.Anonymous4545 wrote: ↑November 25th, 2022, 12:12 pm I would define this state as doing stuff causes me to do the same thing later by means of forces like intuition. Intuition forces me to follow a pattern that mirror another day because of being in a state then. Also, intuition forces me to do stuff with cups. It also involves exposure to lots of different types of intuitions, and extreme exposure to environment. The environment pushes thoughts then I have to put them back in place.
As human beings, none of us are separated from the environment because we are embodied. It may be about metaphysical existence, even though metaphysics may be pushed aside within the scope of philosophical thinking, especially after logical positivism and physicalist models of mind. However, the idea of metaphysical states is interesting and a possibility, although indisputable in some ways. I wonder to what extent a metaphysical state could be said to exist as an objective reality and whether it involves dimensions, including the physical or any other aspects of existence.
