I've only read about a quarter of the book and I was wondering what you're initial opinion was? I feel like it's possible that the author has a biased opinion,I'm just not sure if it's good bias or bad bias yet.

I think all humans are prone to bias, and I think that that is in the human nature. So this author cannot be excluded from that. She too is biased and conveying her own experiences and opinions regarding the current healthcare system. Some might agree with her but some might not. But I honestly believe that she has told the truth, or at least what she believe as the truth as per her knowledge.

By the first glance I thought that this book is for the healthcare providers to learn how o survive in this competitive healthcare system. But later I realized that this book is equally valuable to not only the service provider but also for the consumer as well.

The author is free to write and preach whatever her opinion is on the subject... simply because it's her book. I do not think that she is biased rather she is just sharing her side of the story.
