What has God actually done wrong ?

Discuss philosophical questions regarding theism (and atheism), and discuss religion as it relates to philosophy. This includes any philosophical discussions that happen to be about god, gods, or a 'higher power' or the belief of them. This also generally includes philosophical topics about organized or ritualistic mysticism or about organized, common or ritualistic beliefs in the existence of supernatural phenomenon.

I would suggest that Atheism has an awful lot to say about a lot of things even though it also claims that it doesn’t actually exist to be able to say them.Should we take anything atheism says seriously then as it doesn’t appear to add up?

Atheism has nothing whatever to say about consciousness.
Theism can say and do what it likes about consciousness, because being based on Faith thinks it has no duty to the truth, so is easily convinced by what ever it invents to tell a story.
I disagree Sculptor1.

Atheistic science does say we nothing more than consciousness even though it has nothing to say about it because it doesn’t understand it.
Since atheism is a negation there is no such thing as atheistic science. It's just something theists invent for their fear of their creed, since science has no part of theism.
Consciousness is better understood by science. Theism has nothing to off here at all.

Until it does understand it it should remain silent and not make claims it can’t substantiate.

This has nothing at all to do with theism.
All positive contributions that have been made to our understanding of consciousness come from science. Theism has nothing to offer.
If any one should remain silent then that, my friend, is YOU. SInce you have, in this matter, precisely nothing what ever to say of any significance.

It says nothing more than that you ideas of "god" are ridiculous.
That is exactly what atheism is no more no less.

I thought you said atheism has nothing to say about consciousness? Now you are saying it’s has? Please clarify your nonsensical claims. Why are you making any claims at all by the way? You don’t exist according to you.Or are you now saying that you do exist now?

Science doesn’t understand consciousness and it freely admits it so Science has absolutely no authority whatsoever on what consciousness is or isn’t and how we relate to it.

I am not being insulting.

Please be absolutely clear Sculptor1 rather than talking around the key issue.

Do you believe that you exist or not? and if not, please explain why not and how you can possibly have any opinion one way or the other if you believe that you don’t exist.

Can you not see the fundamental flaw in your reasonings?

You don’t believe that you exist and yet you still want to voice an opinion.

You need to exist first in order to voice an opinion one way or the other.

There is no such thing as true nihilism if you have already decided that you don’t exist. You might exist.

I conclude that you are mere negative nihilist therefore.

You definitely need a + and - force on both sides of the fence in nature to achieve a balance. So I would suggest that you are one or the other when it comes whether you believe you exist or not.
