Since The Church of Satan is an Atheistic Institution, Why is Solipsism a Cardinal Sin?
Everything in totality may or may not exist; it may be an illusion; a figment of what reality truly lies ahead. Many individuals and populations as a whole remain unaware of what amalgamates the psyche and the environment in which they dwell, resulting in a providence of untenable conception of what and how concepts should be constructed in a productive manner. Therefore, by understanding that reality is but a mere concept, no more pragmatic than any tangible object, it is then that an individual or a population may establish arbitrary concepts relative to their overall productivity in a realm where existence is epistemological as it is emblematic in nature. This is highly essential due to the fact that arbitration is dictated by limits and the disruption of nature as an evolutionary product. Instead, concepts become nothing more than the reality it is subjected to, which is one of uncertain constructs. It is the transcendental realm and the aftermath of a blinded population unable or unwilling to accept individual arbitrary composite objects. And like all cult leaders, Anton LaVey was no different---utilizing facets of menticide to recruit and retain followers.
I'd love to hear any other theories!

When you write a thread, focus on a single idea: some point you want to make, some issue you want to bring up, some question you want to ask. Keep the post focused on that one thing. An easy way to do it is to state the point, issue, question, etc. as the first sentence of the post. Then the rest of your paragraph (and subsequent paragraphs if necessary--but only if you can still keep it focused) should simply provide some background/further explanation of what you're focusing on in that first sentence. And then the subject line should basically be a shortened, "punchier" version of your point, issue, or question.
So, for example, if you're really wondering why, If LaVey's Church of Satan is ultimately atheistic, do they have anything as a "sin," then that's what you're first sentence of your post should ask, and the rest of your paragraph(s) should ONLY be supporting/further explanatory info for the question you want to ask.
When your first sentence is instead "Everything in totality may or may not exist; it may be an illusion," then your reader starts wondering, "Well, what specifically does this have to do with the Church of Satan, with whether the Church of Satan is atheistic, and with whether something being a 'cardinal sin' in that context makes sense?" The answer is that it has nothing to do with that. You're promising something with the subject line that you're not delivering in your post, and with your post, it's not that clear just what you want to have a discussion about.
Way too many threads and posts on this site have this problem.
