As you can see by state legislatures enacting 'voter suppression laws' with Republican backing and still maintaining the Trump myth that the election was stolen - This is not over !
I guess this is just part of the wider issue that generally arises in extremely partisan environments in which demonstrable loyalty to the tribe trumps all other considerations. In that environment, truth is what the tribe says it is. To deviate from the tribe's line is, by definition, to lie. Hence, in this particular example, I presume any Republican who acknowledges that Biden won the election is automatically a RINO, automatically a liar and, if they hold elected office, won't for much longer, if the tribe has anything to do with it.
It seems that to someone with that Trump mentality loyalty and truth are genuinely inseparable. I think he's pretty much said that himself. Loyalty
is truth. I guess it's no accident that one of the meanings of the word "true" is actually "loyal" or "faithful".
Isn't that how the MAFIA operated, and still operates - Are you not talking about a criminal gang
As Liz Cheney, and the few Republicans like Romney, etc. have pointed out about Trump's character,
or lack of character.........{'he lies to suit his agenda, often and frequently; including saying he won he election when he know dam well he lost}
There is though a certain purity about Trump that is being missed - He appears to be the purest
sociopath/psychopath that has achieved control of a country in modern times.
He is truly an historical anomaly and nightmare wrapped in one.
You can point out leaders like Hitler and say they were evil, which they were, but even they had some sense of right and wrong, twisted and distorted - but still some sense of right and wrong.
But when Donald Trump jeopardizes the very country he was supposed to be leader of by questioning the
Democratic election process - He has gone beyond all boundaries of right and wrong
- He has become and still is the most dangerous tyrant ever faced by the United States of America
