Dude, the one question central to philosophy is: "What does this thing or this person mean?"
Not what someone who isn't part of the conversation meant with the same word!
You can address what someone else meant with the word, but not to change the meaning of what your conversational partner said!
That is putting words in someone's mouth and reminds of sophistry.

The saying that what is true in theory is not always true in practice, means that the theory is wrong!

Dude,

Sophistry is when you use fallacies. Like populorum.

You are using logical fallacies. Hence the choice of words. If you are not looking at what your conversational partner means, but at what another meant with a word, even after being told the difference, you are going into the turf of sophists.

Seeing as Aristotle is your favorite philosopher, may I ask if you read his Sophistical Refutations?

I think the person who wrote the OP has run away?

I don’t quite understand why they insist on framing “economics” as being soley about “money”? Seems like a strange stance to take im regards to discourse on a philosophical forum. Economics is about the distribution and availability of resources - granted money is the fugible medium we tend to fixate on, but I’d have thought the OP would’ve expanded beyond mere financial wealth and thougth more about availability of education, healthcare, geographical locations and such.
