Putin, Trump, and the Coming Zombie Apocalypse

Post by UniversalAlien »

[NOTE: Satire and Metaphor intended]

Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump if nothing else have one thing iin common - They are political zombies representing old philosophies
proven historically time and time again to lose - And at great costs in Human life while causing much suffering.

The 'Might makes right' philosophies that still exist, as in Putin's genocide in the Ukraine and in Trumps on going attempt to overturn
the Constitutional Republic of the United States, will if not stopped lead to the proverbial 'Zombie Apocalypse' often predicted in fiction.

Putin and Trump have apparently already become zombies, soulless and dead power hungry entities that feed off the flesh and minds of the living to satisfy their insatiable appetite to eat Human life - Paradoxically Trump even gets support from so called 'right to life'
people - But it makes some sense since Trump's politics will accelerate death if allowed and thereby creating an extraordinary need
to compensate for the many more who will die - and forcing women to have babies they don't want is one way.

As you can see just by following the news the Zombie Apocalypse is already happening with many deaths in Ukraine and a new dawn of
of dying set to begin as soon as Trumpian anarchists finish dividing and conquering the United States.

Protection from these zombies might seem simple, but it is not. Many tried to stop Putin in Russia and have just ended up dead
or in jail. Trump's crimes, including an attempted insurrection of the United Sates witnessed by millions around the World and
theft of American classified documents go unpunished with legal authorities scared or bought and paid for.

So philosophers my only question is how do we stop the zombie apocalypse :?: Or should we prepare to become zombies :?:

In a word: EDUCATION.

Like Religion, Politics effects our emotional bias. Navigating through the seas of that fog is difficult for those who only identify with a person's (bad) character, like Trump. Their support is a projection of who they are, and who they want to become. It's certainly normal, yet harmful when it becomes extreme. An insurrection itself, is an extreme measure. And radical, when not supported by the facts, as was adjudicated/Supreme Court.

But the educational piece that relates to emotional bias is important and is also worth attempting an understanding of its causes and effects. Bias is a natural inclination for or against an idea, object, group, or individual. It is often learned and is highly dependent on variables like a person’s socioeconomic status, race, ethnicity, educational background, etc. At the individual level, bias can negatively impact someone’s personal and professional relationships; at a societal level, it can lead to unfair persecution of a group, such as the Holocaust and slavery.

The harmful definition of bias is a tendency, inclination, or prejudice toward or against something or someone. Some biases are positive and helpful—like choosing to only eat foods that are considered healthy or staying away from someone who has knowingly caused harm. But biases are often based on stereotypes, rather than actual knowledge of an individual or circumstance. Whether positive or negative, such cognitive shortcuts can lead to rash decisions or discriminatory practices. We've seen parts of this in Trumpism.

Bias is often characterized as stereotypes about people based on an immutable physical characteristic they possess, such as their gender, ethnicity, or sexual orientation. This type of bias can have harmful real-world outcomes. People may or may not be aware that they hold these biases. The phenomenon of implicit bias refers to societal input that escapes conscious detection. Paying attention to helpful biases requires a delicate balance between self-protection and empathy for others. In the context of immigration policy, there is always a delicate balance between policy, public safety, law and order.

The good news is, American's were just smart enough to see through the fog, smoke, and mirrors of a person who in-fact was not who he said that he was (Trump). As such, we voted him out. A person who demonstrated a dereliction in his duties (COVID/Insurrection, etc.), and a person who displayed bad leadership skills (thin skinned, emotional overreactions, narcissistic tendencies, etc.). And a person who had similar leadership styles the likes of Putin.

Fast forwarding, the mid-term failure (statistically was one of the worse losses for the opposing party not in power) demonstrated a similar loser type mentality. Words matter. And so do actions. Americans rejected such words and actions. Running on negative energy failed. In the coming months, you will see some growing pains within the GOP as they struggle to purge the unproductive extremism, denial, and bad leadership that focuses more on problems than solutions. Just saying things suck, getting angry, and attacking people won't get you elected this time around. A return to the ideology of Ronald Regan/moderation is the GOP's only way to victory in 2024. Not extremism.

Remember, it was Aristotle who said those who live a life of moderation (with some exceptions) tend to life a happier life! Learn to take a bit of good from both sides (virtuous things) and bring them together to effect public policy. A policy of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness for ALL. Easier said than done.

Putin isn't committing genocide in Ukraine, although it can be argued Ukraine and their Azov Nazis were committing genocide in the Donbass. This isn't Lord of the Rings

Following the atrocities carried out by Vladimir Putin’s regime against Ukrainian civilians, MEPs have recognised Russia as a state sponsor of terrorism.
On Wednesday, Parliament adopted a resolution on the latest developments in Russia’s brutal war of aggression against Ukraine. MEPs highlight that the deliberate attacks and atrocities committed by Russian forces and their proxies against civilians in Ukraine, the destruction of civilian infrastructure and other serious violations of international and humanitarian law amount to acts of terror and constitute war crimes. In light of this, they recognise Russia as a state sponsor of terrorism and as a state that “uses means of terrorism”.

There was no insurrection and Zelensky and Reagan are much more the extremists than Trump and Putin. Zelensky has banned labor unions and all opposing parties and had previously banned Russian language in Donbass schools

Putin's Ukraine genocide is rooted in Russian impunity
Since regaining independence in 1991, Ukrainians have thrown off the shackles of Soviet censorship and chronicled the full extent of the Holodomor (“Death by Hunger”), as the famine is known in Ukraine. During the post-Soviet era, growing awareness of the Holodomor has been instrumental in bringing about a broader re-evaluation of the country’s totalitarian past.

The same cannot be said for modern Russia. Far from acknowledging the famine as an act of genocide, Moscow continues to downplay or deny Soviet crimes against humanity. Meanwhile, Russian President Vladimir Putin has sought to rehabilitate the entire Soviet era and has built modern Russian national identity around a cult-like veneration of the USSR’s role in the defeat of Nazi Germany. Attempts to condemn the mass murders of the Soviet regime are now routinely dismissed as unpatriotic and anti-Russian, while Stalin himself is once again openly celebrated as a great leader.

Given the complete failure to hold Russia accountable for the crimes of the past, it is hardly surprising that these crimes are now being repeated. As Lemkin feared, impunity has set the stage for a new era of atrocities.
Despite these very public preparations for genocide, few observers were prepared for the atrocities that would come in the wake of Russia’s February 2022 invasion. In the weeks leading up to the invasion, reports emerged of detailed Russian plans for mass detentions, concentration camps, and priority kill lists. These warnings were widely dismissed as inconceivable but were to prove all too accurate.

The scale of Russia’s crimes over the past six months remains difficult to comprehend. Entire cities have been reduced to rubble. Thousands have been executed. Millions have been forcibly deported to Russia. The core infrastructure of the Ukrainian state has been methodically targeted for destruction, along with the country’s cultural heritage. In areas under Russian occupation, all national symbols and traces of Ukrainian identity are being eradicated. The entire world is witnessing a textbook example of genocide unfolding in real time on smartphone screens and social media threads.

Russia is a modern nation, Ukraine has become a genuine Nazi nation feeding off their own citizens whom they are now freezing because they broke the Minsk accords

Russia Is Attempting To ‘Wipe Out The Ukrainians From The Map'

65,517 views Nov 25, 2022
Former U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Bill Taylor joins Chris Jansing to discuss the growing number of war crimes inflicted by Russia in Ukraine. “There are war crimes taking place every day,” says Taylor. “This is terrorist activity. This is actually an attempt by the Russians to wipe out the Ukrainians, to wipe out the Ukrainians from the map. This is genocide. So this has to be held accountable.”

Russia’s War on Ukraine: Six Months of Lies, Implemented
Russian Historical and Cultural Propaganda Wants to Erase Ukrainian Cultural Identity
Ukraine has existed as a distinct cultural and national identity for centuries, and Putin’s attempts to violently assimilate them into Russian culture are especially heinous given the historical targeting of Ukrainian nationals in the Soviet Union. Under Joseph Stalin, more than three million Ukrainians died in the Holodomor, or Great Famine— a purely artificial food shortage where the entire population of Ukraine was considered secondary to the realization of the Soviet’s five-year economic plan.

LOL...you quoted a biased US ambassador who provided no evidence for his ridiculous "terrorist" claims--the real terrorists are Ukraine shelling the Donbas and their Azov nazis--and an anonymous "historian" who repeated the lies about the myth of the "Holodomor" to back up his unsupported lies about Russia

What is considered an actual war crime? Because I see war being violence that is unavoidable. When I served in the military, if someone was capable of violence, there were orders to shoot first and ask questions later. In war-torn countries, it seems as though people are provided the ability to leave unharmed- and the imminent threat of war is often seen months to years prior to the event happening. The World knew that Putin would order Russia to invade Ukraine. They had encircled the country months prior to the war (or military training whatever he called it prior to admitting to war). I can admit I see mass genocide occurring. My question is why is Zelensky invading Russia if he wants this to stop? And why are there no negotiations between him and Putin- not representatives- but a neutral location with witness segregation (like a lab view- Putin and Zelensky in a room, and witnesses in a room where they can watch and hear the proceedings without interfering. Or communications in writing to seek peace? It seems extremist to me that it's my way or no way on both sides.
I also have a problem with the billions of dollars that we have sent to Ukraine while we have people struggling to survive here. I have personally experienced days where I don't have food to eat and no ability to put gas in a vehicle to get to a store. Right now I have a gallon of milk, a pack of cheap lunch meat, and half of a loaf of bread in my refrigerator. That cost over $10 to buy those items. 2 years ago I would have spent $6 for the same items. Trump may have been extreme and made some bad decisions, but he did a lot better than Biden. His immigration policy has been distorted but it made sense- he didn't oppose immigrants, he opposed illegal immigration. Cross the border legally. Biden has allowed millions to cross and paid for housing, food, and even checks for living expenses. None of them are legal immigrants. Then wonders why some of the governors are taking volunteers and bussing them where political leaders are required to face the problems they are making.
