Invincible inner peace is possible.

Don't mix up inner peace with outer peace, namely because the vincibility or impossibly of the latter can then be falsely projected onto the former.

As the book, In It Together: The Beautiful Struggle Uniting Us All proves, invincible inner peace is possible.

Totally agreed. Outer peace is just the appearance, and appearances can be deceiving. A person may maintain a calm composure while he is in a 'mental-turmoil'. So being peaceful from the outside does not say anything about the inner peace. But I am not certain about the invincibility of inner peace, as IMO it is a subjective achievement.

Although there is a possibility for the calm and quite looking fellows to be not so calm within, I think almost all who have achieved inner peace are peaceful from the outside as well.

I am a MASTER at projecting outer peace while my inner self is churning. The great thing about inner peace is that it is within our control to work on it, own it, and to be graceful with ourselves when we fail. I do daily affirmations to remind myself to be thankful, to accept myself, to let go of worries and stress, and to let in happiness and peace.

Many people, myself included, are good at having outward peace or the allusion of calm. However the mind is not as easily persuaded to that calm as the body can be. That is not the say that internal peace is impossible, just harder than calming the body.

Even if invincible inner peace is possible, it is definitely easier said than done. When faced with turmoil and challenges, it is natural for someone to lose their cool, even if it is just momentarily. With that being said, if someone were to just accept what is instead of stressing over what could be, that would be a great step towards invincible inner peace.

When we finally rise above all the doubts and dualities of our minds and petty thoughts, inner peace manifests within us at the point of culmination in the battle of life. It finds expression in our actions. This inner peace leads to complete harmony in our personality and reflects in our outer lives as well. A mature and experienced mind is the vessel or the container of inner peace.

I do believe that invincible inner peace is possible. We have a physical body, but our mind and emotions are separate. Things can be raging outside, but our emotions are quite serene. Its a spiritual thing.

I totally agree that invincible inner peace is possible. Most of the people are good at appearing happy and calm from the outside but deep down they may note be having a stable mind. We never know what the other person is going through inside.

Inner peace is real and achievable. Inner peace does not mean your life is void of stress. It's about the mentality and attitude one exhibits when life throws a hurdle in your life and how you react to it. Having peace of mind and letting go of what you cannot change and doing your best and leaving the rest is what inner peace looks like to me. Physical appearance can trick the human eye into thinking that the body, mind, and spirit are aligned, but that is not true. You can carry a smile on your face every day and be depressed, just because you want people to think that you are whole and have it together. Inner peace should be an attainable goal for all.

I agree with this statement. Our lives may not be all that we wish for them to be, but we can accept what we have and be happy and content with that. If we are always wishing for better and more, we will never have inner peace. I'm not saying to accept something if you can change it, but if it's something you can't change, then accept it and go on.

**First paragraph of the Serenity Prayer.....
"God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference."

I believe invincible inner peace is possible, but I don't think it is readily attainable. In fact, many humans may not have the energy it takes to achieve that. And some religions may attribute this "state" to a supernatural gift.

I fully agree. How many people have you seen content and happy only to hear later on they have commited suicide or are going through a divorce. Inner and outer peace are basically the same in that aspect in my opinion.

I wish I had control over my inner peace the way you do. My husband is a pro at it and have helped me achieve it better over the years. So I guess it is possible but maybe I am just impatient with it.

I am with you on this one. My mind is all over the place and I have tried many things. It has improved over the years, so it us true what you say. That internal peace isn't impossible.

I have been through a lot in my life which made me not have any inner peace. Until I met my husband. Thanks to him I have started to heal internally and mentally. If you have the right support invincible inner peace might be possible, but otherwise it might be very difficult to attain.
