Whoa!! That would probably make me go crazy. I mean, even if sometimes dreams can seem real it would be very difficult to come to terms with the fact that humans do not exist. It would take a while to get used to the idea and I'd probably never be the same again.

I believe you would still be you, to answer your question directly. Adapting to potential aliens and all the things discussed wouldn't change "who you are". I don't think you could help but continue to be the You you have always been. Where you are doesn't alter your identity at its core, although being exposed to new information may change your mind about certain things.

I feel like this would all be based on whether an individual believes aliens have a conscious and memories. Let's say aliens do have a conscious, just like (most) humans do, I think I'd wake up and still be me. After adjusting to my surroundings and to my new body I think my specific personality would still shine through all the same.
