If being a human was just a dream, then the real "you" is actually being the alien and not the human. The dream will stay to feel like a dream.

If I suddenly woke up as an alien in a humaless world, I would still be me, the real me because I would still carry my impressions or 'samskaras' from the old human world with me. They would help me recognize and identify myself in the new humanless world. I would be even more aware of my human essence in that case.

I wouldn't live to imagine a humanless world but if I woke up in an alien humanless world, I would still be my authentic self because I don't know any other way to live.

If it's a dream and I'm an alien, I will make technology to see if my dream was real or not. Whether humans are just fictional characters or humans are making a connection to me through my dream.

I would still be me. I am not me because of my body or a planet, I am who I am because of what I've lived, felt, and shared. If I suddenly woke up in another world, body, or universe but kept all those things, I would still be myself.

I’d like to think I’d still be me. If my only perception of myself is from a world I thought existed but was only a dream, I don’t see any reason why I would suddenly change into someone else. It would take some readjusting (major readjusting) but I think I’d still be me.

I think I would still be me but somehow I would have a different perception of the world around me. This would be because of the life i had been "dreaming" as mine all along. However, I think my "dream" self wouldn't matter as time went on because i would forget it as time passes, just as we forget out dreams after some time when waking up. So, to answer the question, Yes, I would still be me, my alien me I mean.

I don't know if I would still be me because I don't know all about myself. Sometimes we think we know everything we are or can even be until some situations happen and we realized that there is still a lot to learn about ourselves.
The “me" when not too financially stable might be different when I become very rich.
The me as a human might change when I am no longer one.
Situations change, the environment change and people change.

Whoa!! That would probably make me go crazy. I mean, even if sometimes dreams can seem real it would be very difficult to come to terms with the fact that humans do not exist. It would take a while to get used to the idea and I'd probably never be the same again.😁

To be honest the thought scares me a little. I think after a while, when I get used to the aliens around me I will start forgetting about my human self, but I'd still cherish it and try to keep a good memory of it.

As I awaken in an alien, humanless world, I realize that my existence as a human was a mere dream, a creation of my imagination. The concept of being human dissolves, leaving me to question if I am still the accurate me. Despite the absence of humans, the essence of who I am remains intact. My consciousness persists, transcending any specific form or construct. While my human experiences lose their significance, my whole heart endures. In this new reality, free from the constraints of humanity, I have the opportunity for self-discovery. I can explore the depths of my true nature and redefine my understanding of existence. Although humans were a product of my dream mind, the journey ahead invites me to embrace the mysteries of this alien world and uncover the boundless possibilities that await.

I believe you would still be you, to answer your question directly. Adapting to potential aliens and all the things discussed wouldn't change "who you are". I don't think you could help but continue to be the You you have always been. Where you are doesn't alter your identity at its core, although being exposed to new information may change your mind about certain things.

I feel like this would all be based on whether an individual believes aliens have a conscious and memories. Let's say aliens do have a conscious, just like (most) humans do, I think I'd wake up and still be me. After adjusting to my surroundings and to my new body I think my specific personality would still shine through all the same.

Identity is a complex concept, and waking up as an alien in a humanless world would likely challenge the core elements that define "you." The absence of familiar surroundings and relationships might alter your perception of self.

I would still like to be me. As I can imagine myself somewhere else but can't imagine myself being someone else.
