Something happened to me last week. After my semester exams, my friends invited me to a party but because of the kind of life i led, i turned them down. But after much consideration, I changed my mind and went to the party with them. I realised that I had to share every little moments together because one doesn't know when he/she would leave this world.

I'm always thinking twice about every move I make in life. Its a normal thing for individuals to access their options whenever they are about to make a decision. So, yesterday I changed my mind about chasing women and I have promised to work on myself rather than whiling away my time.

The last time I changed my mind was about quitting my paid internship. The work was very hectic, and the work environment was toxic. People used to escape from their work, and I was asked to fill in for them. I used to work beyond my work hours without extra pay. And people took advantage of that. It was taxing. At one point, I sprained my ankle, and I was still working. I was still asked to move around for work with a sprained ankle, while there were others who were escaping from work. I finally decided that I needed a break, and I took it (actually, I wanted to quit; later, I changed it to a leave of absence). I recovered from my health, attained mental peace, and thought of solutions to address the behaviour of some of my co-workers and the toxic environment. Also, I realised that I was a people-pleaser, and that's why I was unable to say "no." The simple answer to all of my problems was the ability to say "no,", which I lacked. I went back after my break with my ability to say "no," and I cruised well with no problems after that. My work environment or the people haven't changed. It was my attitude and how I decided to tackle it that changed which helped me. It's okay if people think badly of you. Everyone has opinions about you, even if you are good. Learn to value and prioritise yourself over others. You can only do so much. Be helpful, but only to those who genuinely need it.

I once considered an Air Force career for the uniform and defending my country from the sky but followed my true passion for civil engineering, so I have no regrets.

To me, change is constant. I wanted to major in tech, especially learning different languages but after some thoughtful discussion, I decided to leave the language learning and major in technology law{Laws guiding the technology]. since I took that bold step, it has been liberating. I am very happy with my choice 8)

In October, I had to reconsider my choice for my mode of learning as a student. I had decided to study online, but after six months, I was convinced that physical classes were preferable.

I changed my mind about leaving my parents to sort out their issue yesterday. I decided to intervene and try to see how things would work out between them. I hope things turn out good.

We just moved house and keep finding things don't quite fit in the new place. So I feel like every day right now I am changing my mind about whether we should keep things or not or whether having the space and not being burdened by the possessions is more important than the use it gives us. I think it is a really freeing feeling when you make the new decision. Being stuck in a situation which isn't ideal because you feel hemmed in by a previous decision is a recipe for misery.

When I decided to stop doing things to "win" my mom's love.. I realized love should be unconditional. It shouldn't depend on how many hoops I jumped!!

I changed my mind about something yesterday. The way you look at people or the way people look at you doesn't really matter. Living your own lives at your pace with inner peace is all that matters.

I changed my mind about going back to my previous relationship about two months ago. I realized that I developed myself better on my own and that she was only pulling me down.

I may not remember exactly the last time I changed my mind. But recently, I wanted to buy a backpack. I had already put it on my cart, as I like the product description and design of the backpack. However, I decided to read a few reviews about the backpack before checkout. The negative reviews outweighed the positive reviews. At that instant, I changed my mind and removed it from my cart.

This is not too recent but I changed my mind about leaving my Internship place of assignment because I didn't think that it fitted into what I was studying but later changed my mind after discovering the opportunities that lay ahead for me and after finding out how amazing it was to work with the staffs.

It's completely normal for individuals to experience changes in their thoughts and decisions. We're all constantly learning and adapting, and our perspectives can evolve over time. Taking the time to think through significant decisions is a valuable skill, as it allows for more thoughtful and considered choices.
