Don't take any advice from unhappy people.

Genuine kindness I see if one goes through mistakes and he advises you on the same mistake he went through so you can prevent that mistake from happening to you. That's love on a surface level.

Unhappy people give the worst advice. They try to project their unhappiness on you when they advise you. So I stay away from bad energy

Some unhappy people can be giving advice based on things they regret and wouldn't like you to go through. But sometimes, what works for the Goose might not work for the gander. Some can be working hard to see the other person break because it didn't go well for him or her. So, to them, why should she end up happy while am unhappy.

I believe in respecting and valuing everyone, but I also acknowledge the limitations of time, energy, and resources in this human experience. For me, it's about seeking guidance from individuals who radiate a sense of inner peace and genuine happiness. By surrounding myself with positive and content individuals, I can better align my decisions with the kind of fulfilling and joyful life I strive for. It's not about dismissing others' advice entirely, but rather choosing to prioritize insights from those who embody the positivity and peace that resonate with me personally.

This sounds very obvious - and it is. This is mainly because unhappy people won't advice you from a sober viewpoint but from their own emotions and feelings at that time, which can be hugely flawed. No, I wouldn't.

I take advice from anybody. You could be unhappy or happy but your life experiences is what I’m all about to avoid making same mistakes you made that made you unhappy.

I think an unhappy person may give advice based on two reasons. One, they may consider the mistakes they made to cause the unhappiness. Second, they may consider their wishes if they had not commit the mistake that led to their unhappiness.

While respecting all individuals is important, it's also essential to be selective about whose advice you follow. From the book, time, energy, and resources are limited, so focusing on guidance from those who have achieved the kind of success or happiness you aspire to makes sense.

I like your perspective, but I think, just as Scott has said, the suggestion to disregard advice from unhappy people doesn't mean doing the opposite of what they say. Instead, it means recognizing that their perspective may be clouded by their own struggles and dissatisfaction. By not letting their advice influence your decisions, you maintain your autonomy and focus on more constructive guidance.

That may be true, because blindly following or opposing someone's advice can make you a slave to their influence. I think true autonomy involves critically evaluating advice and making decisions based on your values, goals, and understanding of what contributes to your happiness and success.

I do not totally believe in that. Sometimes, unhappy people hold the most beautiful roses in life. Their lives has found a safer part that makes the safer. Some of the seemingly unhappy people are not unhappy, but they refuse to share their space with total strangers.

Very true. Unhappy people are already clouded by their prevailing emotions and directed by them. This, in my opinion eventually affects their objectivity and sanity. I think this is a reasonable advice.

I agree with you totally on this. You have explained what you mean by unhappy people. That's those who lack the exact good thing you want. Yes. Ive also learnt that people who lack one thing tend to maintain their lives while in the condition of lacking. They would use many means to maintain their composure, one of this is to talk down on the possibility or the advantage of achieving that which they lack to another who really strives to get it. That's just human behavior. Also, this is why an ancient copywriter said, "don't follow what people say, look at what they do.

Yes, this is a valid point and I agree with it. Unhappy people like to suck the joy away from others. It is unhealthy and I don't like it.

I think it's generally unwise to take advice from unhappy people, as their perspectives may be clouded by their own negative experiences and emotions. Instead, seek guidance from those who have found success, happiness, and fulfillment in the area you're seeking advice on. Their advice is more likely to be informed by positive experiences and a growth mindset.
