Whatever emotions one has will constantly attract similar ones. This is just like the law of attraction: you attract what you constantly fix our minds on. Hence, we all should be wary of negative thoughts, as it affects the state of mind.

This is definitely true! People will only see what they want to see. No matter how much one tries, they can't make another see something they intentionally don't want to see. It is like they're blind to the reality and accept a make-believe version that suits them.

I completely agree with this. I do believe that beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder. We see only what we want to see, and we also receive the same energy that we put out into the world.

I agree with this statement 100%. I battled depression and negative thinking in my past and realized that it was passed down in my family. My attitude and outlook changed drastically, once I started reading the Bible daily and meditating on positive thoughts. I can see a big difference as soon as I get out of the habit of reading my Bible. It doesn't take long for a "bad attitude" to creep in and suddenly I am projecting that to everyone around me. Some people may call that a "crutch", but I call it "life-giving" and necessary for my mental and spiritual health.

Absolutely true. We feel what our mind thinks. Looking at a situation with a happy mind will give a positive approach. If u r angry then the situation has a change of going into fight. Your mood is what you feel.

This topic reminds me of what I read in the book: "Our eyes may see different things, but some agreeable uniting truths can be seen even with your eyes closed, and we all see those." Although I see closing our eyes hear could mean shutting our minds to what we see personal to see the bigger picture that unites us.

This concept is described in many different ways but with the same outcome. I've heard many different examples including when you want a new car, you will start seeing more of that car on the road because you are focused on it. There are not necessarily more of those cars on the road all of a sudden, you just see them more. I agree that what you choose to see is what you will see in the world. If you choose to see things that are exciting and make you happy, that is what you will see more of. If you are in a miserable mood, you will see other things that will continue to make you miserable. Whatever you want to focus on is what you will see. I try to look for more good things in my day so that I can feel happier and better about the day.
