This nakes a lot of sense. Peace comes from contentment. One has to be content in him/herself to be able to achieve inner peace.

This is absolutely true. The less you care about what others think the more comfortable one becomes. Many people today act according to people's opinion which has turned out bad for them. Believe you are right and see yourself live happily forever.

This seems like a part of the book that shouldn’t be missed. I’m very curious, Mr. Scott. Did you at one point in your life study philosophy or theology?

I think I understand what you're getting at here. It comes down to owning our choices, too. We make choices every day; some are excellent, and some could be better, but we made that choice, so we have to accept it and make peace with it. I think learning from mistakes is also required here. If you keep making the same poor choices over and over again, then you're not improving.

I'm also learning that you can make choices that make you happy by saying 'no' to the things that don't. I think self-happiness is important here. Is saying 'yes' to make another person happy but you miserable the best choice? Probably not.

The claim highlights a commitment to personal authenticity and boundaries, asserting that inner peace stems from aligning actions solely with genuine desires. This unapologetic approach to choice suggests a conscious rejection of external pressures, promoting self-awareness and emotional well-being. While achieving this level of autonomy may be challenging for some due to external obligations, the sentiment encourages prioritizing self-harmony by navigating life in harmony with personal values and desires. It embodies a philosophy of intentional living, suggesting that genuine fulfillment arises when actions align with intrinsic motivations, fostering a sense of contentment and tranquility.

By consciously aligning your actions with your personal preferences, you cultivate a genuine connection with yourself. This self-awareness empowers you to navigate life's complexities with a grounded sense of purpose, contributing to the overall harmony and tranquility you experience.

It's a dynamic interplay between personal agency and external forces that ultimately defines the trajectory of one's life. The process of decision-making involves assessing options, considering consequences, and aligning choices with personal values and goals.

In essence, finding inner peace through a shameless pursuit of your desires involves self-awareness, intentionality, and the courage to embrace who you truly are. This holistic approach contributes to a life marked by fulfillment, purpose, and a sense of tranquility.

Sure I live my life to please myself, but I think about people close to me like families. Imagine someone thinking about suicide, yes, this is what the person wants, to just forget everything and rest. I try to consider how my life style will affect my family. One trying to commit suicide will not think of how it will affect his family, how they are going to blame themselves for his demise, the mourning.

This is correct because there is a certain peace that comes with freedom. It can't be negotiated. You are allowed to be yourself.

I get that all humans are entitled to the right to take any personal action they feel. This would definitely help in building an individual's self-esteem and inner peace.

This life is worth living. We should be happy this beautiful eternal reality exists rather than nothing. That is true happiness and inner peace. From your explanation, I come to understand the nature of truth and our existence. Thank you for orientating us to the suggestion no.1, 'Be honest. Let go of denial, delusion, and self-deceit!' All other suggestions originate from it and are its various forms.

I concur with the idea of doing absolutely what's on your mind snd what you want to do always but, sometimes it's good to reconsider your thoughts and weight the negative effects if any. I also suggest you have entrusted people you can talk to if faced with a difficult decision.

I feel its not right to do what you want to do. I feel the aim is to do what is good for the society. If we should do what we like, what if what we like affect others negatively.

Don't even bother worrying about other people. ,they can take care of themselves and they will be better. What you said is true. But sometimes you have to do what you don't want.
