Hate feels like a burdensome anchor pulling me into darkness. It's a potent emotion that doesn't remain dormant but expands and consumes.

Hatred blinds us to the goodness in others, posing a significant challenge in today's society. Releasing hatred enables us to embrace love, compassion, and empathy with open hearts.

Hate is a terrible feeling to keep one going. To hate is bad and it shouldn't be something one looms forward to doing.

There is a quote a mentor of mine once said and it goes "to hate someone is to live in captivity because you hold yourself and the person you hate hostage and only you can free yourself". I remind myself of this do I don't carry this heavy stone of hate around and burden myself.

To have hate in your heart can be a burden because you're never truly a free and happy person.

This is a fact. Hate can really make one do things he or she may regret. This reminds me of my teen age in college. I'm happy today that I didn't do a lot of things I planned back then. Hate allows people make decisions for you which is very miserable.

Love and Hate are two powerful feelings. And one thing I believe is, you torture yourself when you hate people. It makes you not to see the good side of someone no matter how hard they try. You channel yourself energy in hating and at the end it drains you. So yes Hating is like living in hell.

Nurturing hatred within yourself radiates a toxic energy, manifesting as envy, conflict, and malice, which can hinder your progress and keep you stuck in a state of stagnation. Hate is a powerful and destructive force, contrasting sharply with the constructive power of love. While love fosters growth and builds connections, hate tears down and destroys. Let us strive to cultivate love and kindness in our daily lives, embracing a more compassionate and uplifting approach to our interactions and relationships.

Holding onto feelings of hatred is damaging for both the person who hates and the one who is hated. It is alright to disagree with someone or even to dislike someone because they have treated you or someone you love poorly, but choosing to hate is choosing to let whom or what you hate have power over you and is counterproductive.

I agree with the statement. Holding onto hate can create a personal "hell" by causing deep emotional pain and inner conflict. Just as hell is associated with suffering, hatred can torment the heart and mind, leading to feelings of isolation, bitterness, and unhappiness. Releasing such negative emotions and striving for forgiveness and understanding can help alleviate this inner suffering and lead to a more peaceful state of bein

Holding onto hate brings misery, but sometimes, taking bold action is necessary to create positive change.

In life, nothing affects health badly than hate. hatred for a negative chemical reaction in the body that aggravated other life challenges. Hatred reduce the inner peace and add to life pressure. Hate is a Keller without gun.

When you hold onto hatred, you radiate a multitude of toxic emotions such as envy, conflict, and malice, which can hinder your progress and lead to stagnation. As a powerful and destructive force, hate stands in stark contrast to love, which fosters growth and creation. By choosing to embody love in our daily lives, we can build each other up and cultivate a more positive environment.

I resonate with the idea that those who act violently in the name of "saving" the world are often driven by their own inner turmoil and misery. It makes sense that someone who lacks inner peace would project their dissatisfaction onto the world, leading them to believe extreme measures are justified. The comparison to historical examples like the Nazis or honor killers highlights how deeply ingrained this mindset can be.

I appreciate the perspective that hate is its own form of hell, and that those who harbor it are often blinded by their suffering. The idea of forgiving even the most brutal individuals, recognizing that their actions stem from profound internal misery, is both compassionate and thought-provoking.

The contrast between these individuals and those who embody true spiritual freedom and peace is powerful. It shows how inner contentment can manifest outwardly in kindness, creativity, and love. I find the Alan Watts quote fitting, reinforcing the idea that forcing "good" onto others often causes harm, whereas true happiness naturally radiates and uplifts without effort.

Hate burns the bearer more than the hated. Sometime, the hated may not notice the person hating. The act of hating is a futility.
