May 2023 Philosophy Book of the Month -- Final Vote

Post by Eckhart Aurelius Hughes »

The previous poll had a tie between the top two, so we will now have a final poll to determine the May 2023 Philosophy Book of the Month.

I have pledged to read whichever book is selected as the very next book I read. In other words, I have not only pledged that I will read it, but that I will read it right away as the very next book I read.

I only read about two books per month on average, and I have a to-read list with hundreds of books on it, which only gets longer, never shorter. So, for me, there is a big difference between saying "I will add it to my to-read list" versus "I will read it right away as the very next book I read".

To vote in this poll, you must have bought my book, In It Together.

If you bought In It Together but don't yet have access to this forum to vote, simply email a picture or copy of your receipt or other proof of purchase to me at:

Thank you,
Scott
My entire political philosophy summed up in one tweet.

"The mind is a wonderful servant but a terrible master."

I believe spiritual freedom (a.k.a. self-discipline) manifests as bravery, confidence, grace, honesty, love, and inner peace.

Please be kind enough to update the Philosophical BOTM list according to the poll results. Thank you
