"The mind is a wonderful servant but a terrible master."
I believe spiritual freedom (a.k.a. self-discipline) manifests as bravery, confidence, grace, honesty, love, and inner peace.

Yes, this has to be my favorite one by far. It's honestly so enchanting to me how so many little words in a poem can be so powerful. Great job! Can't wait for new poems!Eckhart Aurelius Hughes wrote: ↑July 26th, 2023, 2:34 pm I just added my newest poem to the list:

This is so true! It is enlightening to see how many interpretations can be there of a single poem. We all interpret a poem according to our own emotions and experience, thereby creating a vast array of meaningful interpretations.Dalia Chaouaf wrote: ↑July 20th, 2023, 7:31 am I have always found poetry to be such a broad kind of writing because each single person could interpret it as they see fit. There is no right or wrong. I look forward to reading these poems. I just picked one randomly just now (based solely on the title - Let’s Get Hurt Tonight) and I can say that I can’t wait to read the others!!
I can't wait to go through all the poems listed and interpret them in my own way.
